Closed my eyes and unable to moved. Trapped in this.

The black of my eyes become a screen for a life once lived.

I see you. I replay screen shots of you,

A Memory. Thousands of memories, over and over again.

I exhale as I witness you walk away.

I’m stood right where it happened, yet thousands of miles apart from a life we once lived.

My eyes fastened close with you locked inside.

I love you the same way I did that day.

An old love, a past love, a lost love,

a love far removed, far fetched fragments of a life, a love once lived.

Am I weak for holding on? Or is all this just fine?

I don’t ask for these flash back of you,

I don’t ask for you to still be in my way.

I can’t shift my life, fixated on a live we once lived.

You’re straight body, you’re limp hair turn my corner,
